On Saturday, August 19, Arnstein Evangelical Baptist Church hosted a BBQ and Blue Grass Concert at the local community centre. The rain stopped mid-afternoon and around 350 people showed up for delicious food and a fantastic musical presentation by Lindley Creek, a Christian family from Missouri. Everyone was delighted especially because it was all free! We even had face painting, balloon art, and a vintage car show. All to present a warm, loving and gentle witness for Christ. We are thrilled and amazed at the outcome.
To our great excitement, plans are under way to do it again next summer on Saturday, July 28th, featuring the bluegrass gospel group Rescue Junction.
